The June Dallas Total Home & Gift Market proved successful for the HTI Buying Group. With 36 retail members in attendance, up from 34 during the January show, the company hosted three roundtables, discussed new product finds and amplified relationships between retailers and suppliers with personalized showroom tours and consulting sessions.
Roundtable discussions were held on Thursday and Friday of the market. Social media speaker J.R. Atkins discussed the importance of utilizing social media tools like Facebook and Twitter; Brad Hughes of AstraZenca discussed human resources; and HTI retailer Tony Curtis-Wellings of Faraday’s led a discussion on merchandising strategies.
HTI is an association that facilitates the opportunity to build better relationships between Independent Kitchenware Retailers members and Housewares Vendor members.
