Housewares Brands Put Sustainability In The Spotlight

Lotus Trolley Bag, Klean Kanteen, Eco Lunchbox and Khala & Co. have collaborated on “Plastic Free July,” a month-long campaign to raise awareness about single-use plastics.

According to the company, reusable products have been showcased, especially as the world has seen its environmental impact drastically reduced during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We saw record-breaking pollution reduction in a span of days, and now is the perfect time to restart society on a greener, more conscious foot,” said Jennifer Duvall, co-founder of Lotus Trolley Bag. “This campaign empowers us all to enact positive change as we celebrate Plastic Free July.”

With that, the companies are engaging in large-scale social media campaigns to encourage people to be more eco-friendly and eliminate single-use plastic. The campaigns will feature videos, giveaways and additional educational content.

Highlighted products from the brands include Lotus Trolley Bag reusable trolley bags and produce bags; Klean Kanteen stainless steel water bottles and straws; Eco Lunchbox stainless steel lunchboxes; and Khala & Co. plant-based and beeswax food wraps.
