Honeycomb Kitchen Shop, an independent housewares store located in Rogers, AR, will be hosting Helen Lampkin, founder of My Brother’s Salsa, for a Salsa 101 class. The class is scheduled for June 21 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
In the class, attendees will learn about chiles commonly used in salsa, how to handle chiles, and will also create three different salsas: Pico de gallo, roasted salsa, and salsa verde.
Lampkin founded her salsa company in 2003 after tweaking her brother’s salsa recipe through the years to make it her own. Now, according to Honeycomb Kitchen, My Brother’s Salsa has expanded from her brother’s original recipe to 10 different flavors of salsa as well as their very own whole-grain tortilla chips.
