Gibson To Launch Largest Mug Assortment To Date

At the upcoming New York Tabletop Market, Gibson Overseas will introduce its largest and most diverse mug assortment to date.

According to the company, it worked with over 20 designers to create hundreds of mug designs that include everything from reactive glaze finishes to popular sentiments across a variety of brands including Gibson’s legacy brands and Mr. Coffee.

“You use mugs every day and consumers are looking to mugs to make a personal statement or give as a fun gift,” said David Nicklin, vp/marketing and licensing, Gibson.

Nicklin also explained that mugs were previously a staple of large 16-piece dinnerware sets, but are now viewed as a separate purchase, which has given rise to more open stock and 4-pack mug offerings at retail.
