Fox Run Brands has decided to exit the 2019 International Home + Housewares Show, scheduled to be held March 2 to 5, in Chicago. According to a statement issued by company CEO Sean Leonard, Fox Run Brands has decided to reallocate marketing funds to further support resources dedicated to developing and launching new brands.
“Fox Run has been proud to be a part of the International Home + Housewares Show for [more than]40 years. During that time, we have seen enormous growth but also great change both as a company and in the marketplace. Witnessing the dramatic changes in our industry, particularly over the past 10 years, we have decided to make a change in the way we allocate our marketing funds. We believe that investing resources into developing and launching new brands (of which we have two this year), as well as other avenues of connecting to both retailers and consumers is where we should be positioning the company for the future,” Leonard said.
In addition, Leonard noted that the company looks forward to continuing its relationship with its customers across North America, many of whom have worked with the company for over 30 years.
“We look forward to continuing those relationships and to growing the company in a dynamic marketing environment,” he said.
