Forty One Madison has announced the re-entry of its building, in accordance with New York City’s phase two guidelines, as of June 22. In addition, it has updated its Fall New York Tabletop Market dates, extending them to October 13 to 20.
In a statement shared by Forty One Madison team, this shift overlaps with NY NOW and Shoppe Object, giving the brands and visitors the option of four additional days to spread out appointments. The decision was made based on a survey of the building’s showrooms.
Forty One Madison also said it has implemented safety protocols and asks all guests to make appointments with showrooms in advance of arrival. The building will continue to undergo consistent extensive cleaning and disinfecting, masks will be required for entry and in all public spaces and elevators will be limited to four riders per car.
In addition, the Forty One Madison team said it continues to follow city and state guidelines for reopening and exploring additional ways to support the industry, such as adding digital content on Tableaux spotlighting new 2020 introductions. The team has also made sell sheets available for download on its website.
