Tabletop building Forty One Madison announced that more than 40 brands with permanent showrooms in the building will be open to meet with gift retailers and buyers during the timeframe of the NY Now market, Saturday, January 31 through Wednesday, February 4.
Among the showrooms open during that time will be Hermès, L’Objet, Puiforcat, Ralph Lauren Home, Richard Ginori, Riedel, Rosenthal, Saint Louis, Waterford Wedgwood Royal Doulton, and Mottahedeh.
Forty One Madison will also be helping show-goers make the cross-town trek by offering complimentary mini-coach shuttle service between its Madison and 26th Street location and Javits Convention Center for NY Now. The service will run daily during the gift market from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, and until 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Forty One building also features free high speed Wi-Fi throughout the building, and the buyers lounge on Level A of the building will also be open.
Forty One Madison also is joining again with Emerald Expositions and 230 Fifth Avenue to offer attendees who show their badges from Friday, January 30 through Wednesday, February 4, half-price admission ($9) to the newly reopened Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum on Fifth Avenue at 91st Street. On exhibit at that time will be “Tools: Extending Our Reach.”
