Fissler has introduced a new non-stick fry pan which is designed to help home cooks fry food with ease, the company said, with the addition of thermo-sensitive coating.
Dubbed SensoRed, the deep red interior of the pan features dark speckles that disappear when the surface reaches 390 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius), the recommended temperature for frying. If the pan overheats, light speckles appear to alert the cook to lower the heat, according to Fissler.
Made in Germany, the fry pan has a bakelite handle for easy grip and handling. Dishwasher safe, the fry pans come in three sizes, including 8-inch, 9.5-inch and 11-inch. The fry pans range in suggested retail price from $59.99 to $99.99.
