Fagor is expanding its assortment of induction cooktops with the debut of its Eclipse Induction Set.
Included are a new circular 1,800-watt portable induction cooktop and a 9.5-inch induction-ready PFOA–free non-stick aluminum skillet. The cooktop is designed with an 11.5-inch circular glass surface that stays cool to the touch and has a temperature range of 140° Fahrenheit to 465° Fahrenheit.
It has an automatic safety shut off feature, a built-in count down timer and a panel lock button. The smooth surface makes for easy and quick cleaning, company officials said.
In addition, the cooktop is equipped with a digital display and three preset functions for brown, boil and warm and can be used in a small home or apartment, camper or for outdoor cooking. Induction cooking uses 90% of the energy produced and cooks up to 50% faster than gas or electric.
Suggested retail price for the Eclipse Induction Set is $129.95.
