Ettiene Market, with locations in McKinney and Round Top, TX will reopen its McKinney location on March 27, as an essential business, in accordance with local government COVID-19 virus regulations.
Ettiene Market owner Coryanne Ettiene stated the following on the store’s Facebook page: “After speaking with the city and our staff, we have decided to re-open the doors of Ettiene Market as an essential business. As you may know, we decided to close our doors on March 15 to keep our community and staff safe, but now with the new Shelter In Place across McKinney, we have decided that opening our doors is the right thing to do to support our community at this time.”
To prepare for the reopening, Ettiene said the store is restocking its coffee, tea, spices, dry goods and bar mixers, and plans to expand its pantry staples and household goods as needed. The store will also continue its delivery service.
In addition, to keep staff and its community safe, Ettiene implemented guidelines for shoppers including no children, no cash and the store will allow just one shopper in at a time. Each shopper is limited to under 10 minutes and those waiting outside must practice social distancing rules.
The retailer also announced that Monday shopping hours are reserved for those that are immunity-compromised and/or over the age of 60.
