Dexas will showcase the new Ice-ology clear ice maker set at the upcoming International Home + Housewares Show, scheduled to be held March 2 to 5 in Chicago. The company said the new clear ice maker set is designed to provide consumers with an elevated cocktail experience at home.
Made for the discerning connoisseur of premium spirits and craft cocktails, the system is said to make a clear ice cube or sphere to control both temperature and dilution. The system can be filled with water and placed in a freezer for 12 hours. The new ice maker set has a suggested retail price of $39.99 for the large two cubes and two spheres and $49.99 for the eight-count cubes tray.
In addition, Dexas is rolling out more than 50 new SKUs at IH+HS. While many of the new introductions harken back to the company’s initial success with cutting boards from the early days, the company has since tapped into the rising consumer interest in home entertaining with boards that also serve as presentation and serving, such as its Mise en Place home chef board in acacia and bamboo.
For example, Dexas will introduce new cutting boards designed to improve carving and serving a wide variety of roasted meats, poultry and fish. The new Gripp & Carve is a new shape for the company and is reversible with non-slip ends. On one side it has a pointy meat grip pattern that can keep foods in position, while the juice well will retain any juices that are released, so that they can be reused or used as ingredients. The dual-function cutting board is BPA-free, dishwasher safe, said to be gentle on fine knives and is available in three sizes, with a suggested retail price range of $8 to $20.
