As Dallas has come under a shelter-in-place order, the Dallas Market Center said it would be ceasing operations until April 3.
“Like many of you, we are facing unique business challenges associated with the COVID-19 coronavirus, and I am thankful for your flexibility and cooperation. We are focused on the health and safety of our employees, exhibitors, and customers during the pandemic,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO, Dallas Market Center.
According to Morris, while the Market Center is closed, market officials remain committed to the industry. Morris said that exhibitors have alerted the market regarding available stock ready-to-ship, and that information has been posted on the front page of the market’s website.
“Even while temporarily closed we believe in continuing our mission of connecting buyers with available products. We will pick back up with our daily business, design events, and upcoming markets shortly,” Morris said.
Plans for the summer 2020 edition of the Dallas Total Home + Gift Market remain in place, as previously announced.
