If all goes according to plan, Troy, NY will see the opening of a new gourmet store in early 2016. Named Culinary Square, owner Samantha Fagan is pushing for the shop to be open by late January, early February. Fagan’s store will be located in a former M&T Bank branch space on River Street, and will occupy 850 square feet.
Fagan told the Times Union that the inventory will be similar to those of other shops, such as Williams-Sonoma, that target serious cooks. She also plans to carry glassware and dishes.
Currently, Fagan is the part-time director at the Watervliet Public Library.
