West Hartford, CT-based Cookshop Plus is relocating to a new building, around the corner from its current location. The new space, said the retailer, will enable it to expand its cooking class facilities to encompass a dedicated commercial-style teaching kitchen.
This new kitchen will also give the retailer the ability to accommodate hands-on classes of up to 20 students, multiple times per week. The improved space will also be available for corporate team-building, private and local community events.
In addition, Cookshop Plus has entered into a partnership with J. Rene Coffee Roasters, an award winning West Hartford business, that will be taking over the day-to-day running of the Cookshop Plus Coffee Bar.
“We are so pleased to stay in West Hartford Center and continue to be a part of such a wonderful community, who have supported us strongly since we opened in 2015. This move will allow us to achieve our original goal of a dedicated cooking class area, something we could not achieve in our current space, and continue our growth towards being central Connecticuts favorite kitchen destination,” said Cookshop Plus co-owner, James Hines.
The move is set to occur in early Fall and the store will remain open in the current location until the final stages of the move. Cookshop Plus is expecting a quick transition with minimal disruption to their customers. Details and updates on the move will be posted in store, as well as communicated through the retailer’s social media channels.
