Rochester, MN-based Cook’s Pantry has announced it will be closing. Holly Mangelsen, owner of the store, informed GOURMET INSIDER® of the closing and subsequently made an announcement to customers on Facebook. Acorn Pantry, based in Siren, WI and also owned by Mangelsen, will remain open.
“We are sad to say goodbye to Cook’s Pantry in Rochester. Due to illness, we need to focus our time and efforts at home and on our other kitchen store and restaurants in Siren, WI. It has been a pleasure serving you all with your kitchen and cooking needs. Thank you for all the local support and memories,” was posted on the store’s Facebook page.
Cook’s Pantry will begin a storewide closing sale on September 1. Remaining inventory will be transferred to Acorn Pantry, if necessary.
