Cooks Of Crocus Hill Teams With Surrender Salmon For Cooking Class

Cooks of Crocus Hill, with locations in St. Paul and Minneapolis, MN, will host Surrender Salmon, a local family-owned fishing business, for a cooking class and discussion about Alaskan salmon. The class is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 8 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

According to the retailer, founder and fisherman Grant Niver will share stories about his fishing practices, general fish preparation tips and tricks, and a few tales from the company’s adventures in Bristol Bay, Alaska.

Following the discussion, Cooks of Crocus Hill’s Chef Brian will prepare a menu featuring salmon that will include: Salmon Rillette with Mascarpone and Grilled Bread; Grilled Salmon with Dashi, Baby Bok Choy and Mint; Sautéed Salmon with Orange Buerre Blanc, Smashed Fingerlings and Roasted Artichokes.
