Coffeejack, a cup-sized portable espresso maker, recently launched via a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign.
The new espresso maker was designed by two former Dyson engineers and is said to utilize micro-hydraulic technology to create enough pressure to brew espresso. Such pressure, explained the designers, is typically only found in espresso machines.
To use, a consumer can add coffee, fill with hot water, and pump approximately eight times for the perfect espresso extraction. The cup-sized maker is 100mm high and doesn’t use pods, filters, or consumables. It also is made of shatter and heat resistant materials for durability.
