Mount Pleasant, SC-based The Coastal Cupboard is currently hosting a trade-up event in support of Habitat for Humanity. The event will run through Aug. 31.
The store is inviting customers to trade in their used/old cookware, cutlery and flatware for a 20% discount off of new goods of the same category. For example, an old knife, for a new knife or an old pot for a new pot. The traded in items will then be donated to Habitat for Humanity.
Mount Pleasant, SC-based The Coastal Cupboard has been in business for more than 10 years. The store was opened by John Pitner after moving his family from Fort Collins, CO to the South Carolina neighborhood. Pitner’s son, Brad, took the helm in 2009, expanding the store from 3,500 square feet to 5,200 square feet, which includes a demonstration kitchen.
