Caroline Peterson, owner of Sioux Fall, SD-based Plum’s Cooking, has announced her retirement. Peterson will continue to stay on until April 15, 2016. Penny Klinedinst, who currently owns two stores in Sioux Falls — Simply Perfect, a home decor and design store, and Threads, a clothing boutique — has been named as Peterson’s successor.
“And I will be spending much more time with my children and grandchildren. The future is bright both for me and my store,” Peterson said.
After Peterson’s retirement, Plum’s Cooking will be closed until Aug. 1 for extensive remodeling and rejuvenation, according to the store’s newsletter.
“Rest assured, the products that have made us who we are will continue to be a part of the product mix and classes will continue and be stepped up a notch,” Peterson noted.
