Capers Emporium, located in New Harmony, IN, is adding a glass fusion studio. The new studio, said the retailer, will enable it to host fused glass makin classes.
According to the retailer’s Facebook page, glass fusion is the process of melting different colored glass sheets together to create molded forms into decorative dishes, garden accessories, pendants and other goods. The retailer is in the process of installing the studio, which will include grinding equipment, a glass fusion kiln, grinding equipment for cutting the colored glass sheets and various.
During the installation process, the retailer has posted updates via videos on Facebook and is expected to open the studio for classes soon.
Capers Emporium is owned by husband and wife team, Mary Beth and Michael Guard. The store celebrated its first anniversary last year.
