Le Creuset has a number of new initiatives planned for this year’s International Home + Housewares Show, not the least of which is the introduction of its new color— Marseille.
Marseille is a vibrant blue that Le Creuset expects will become a “core” color, and it will be rolled out across the entire Le Creuset spectrum, including cast iron, ceramic, tea kettles, tabletop and gadgets. “We saw an opportunity to create a more brilliant blue,” said Kristin Mancia, senior brand manager/cookware for Le Creuset.
Marseille, which is named after a region in France, will replace Cobalt, a blue that has been a staple for the cookware company for a number of years.
