Bowery Kitchen Supply, a New York, NY-based gourmet housewares store, has closed briefly for a remodel. The store shut its doors temporarily at the beginning of August and is planning to re-open as soon as possible, with renovations slated to take about two weeks.
“We will close for approximately two weeks whilst we have a complete new refit. Coming back brighter, better and with all new stock. Thank you all for your support,” the store posted on its Facebook page.
Originally opened in The Bowery in 1975, the company opened The Chelsea Market location in 1996. The location allows the business to serve and supply Food Network with kitchen necessities, as it shares a building with the television studio.
