Beatriz Ball has expanded upon its melamine dinnerware portfolio with the introduction of new collections and line extensions, which it will showcase at the upcoming NY Now market held in New York City.
Launched in 2017, the company’s melamine serveware includes two collections: Havana and Alegria. Both have the look of high-end pottery, with the durability of modern melamine. Both collections gained new additions.
The Havana line, distinguished by flirty curves and available in vibrant colorways, now includes a medium size bowl in white and aqua, and a chip & dip in white, coral and aqua. All items can be mixed and matched, the company said.
Alegria, enlivened by rims of pearls and available in festive colorways, gained a medium bowl in white, a baguette tray in white and blue and a mini bowl suitable for dips in white and blue. Alegria is designed for mixing and matching with the company’s Organic Pearl metalware.
The company has also added the Lettuce Leaf melamine collection, an extension of the Leaf bowls in the Garden series, available in the company’s signature polished metal alloy. This new melamine collection presents textured pieces in a white finish.
The company has also unveiled its new Oyster platters. Inspired by the artistry of nature, the Oyster platters are a sculptural celebration of the oyster shell, the company said. Oyster items are available in metal alloy and ceramics.
“I am so pleased with the overnight success of our luxury melamine collections,” said Beatriz Ball, founder, owner and chief designer of Beatriz Ball. “A tray in our Alegria collection was chosen as one of Oprah’s Favorite Things last fall, and the reception for all of the items has been so encouraging that I’m designing new pieces to satisfy the demand.”
