Atlanta Highlights New Market Resources

Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market, scheduled to be held July 9 to 15 at AmericasMart Atlanta, will be welcoming both new and expanded showrooms for the summer edition of the show, as well as developing and executing programming that is designed to allow attendees to feel inspired, noted International Market Centers (IMC), which runs the Atlanta show.

In the Tabletop & Gift collection, four new showrooms include Annieglass, Maple Leaf at Home, Michael Wainwright and William Yeoward Crystal. The three expanded showrooms include Bluesky Clayworks, Mila Brown and Mariposa. Six showrooms have renewed their leases, which include: Caskata, Dartington Crystal, Jay Import Company, Mary Jurek Design, Inc., Three Star and Tizo Design.

In Gourmet & Housewares, the four new showrooms are Trudeau Corporation, Mills Gourmet, La Crema Coffee and Spokandy. The five expanded showrooms are Ala Carte Alice, Blue Cattle Truck, Delectable Samplings, Jura and Kasperzack & Associates. Seven renewed showroom leases include Bradshaw International, Harold Import Co., Le Creuset, Leadingware Group, Silver Buffalo, Supreme Marketing and Wine.A.Rita.

AmericasMart has also readied 30 events and seminars, gourmet demonstrations, lounges and celebrations for the upcoming market.

“The July Market programming is all about inspiration,” explained Dorothy Belshaw, executive vp/chief marketing and digital officer for IMC. “Whether it’s a new business venture, a new way to connect with customers or a new recipe to prepare for family and friends, buyers will find it in Atlanta this summer.”

Shop the Show returns for its third season with a new group of design and lifestyle influencers who will shop the Market, present trend-focused seminars, meet buyers and share their experiences. This year, the program includes Monika Hibbs; Landyn Hutchinson of Living with Landyn; Ashley Rose of Sugar & Cloth; and Anissa and Brian Zajac of House Seven Design + Build. The Shop the Show influencers will be sharing their expertise in a series of events throughout the market.

The Fiesta Dinnerware Demonstration Kitchen will play host to a Cocktails and Conversations series featuring mixologists from local restaurants sharing favorite recipes and tips. Throughout the market buyers will enjoy a modern take on punches; Prohibition-era cocktails; cocktails with local ingredients and fresh produce; and travel-inspired modern cocktails.

The temporaries will be open July 10 to 14 and will present approximately 3,000 exhibitors. Updates to the temporary marketplace for July include the newly named Outdoor Living collection, the renamed Seasonal / Gift collection and the relocation of the Museum Collective.
