A Culinary Affair Launches Instructional Cooking Program

Thursday, March 5 at 5:30 p.m. marks a new chapter for A Culinary Affair in Nags Head, NC; it’s the first day that the three-year old retailer is offering instructional cooking classes.

The first class will be taught by a local chef and will teach students how to prepare oysters in several different ways and with different sauces. The price is $25 per person which includes refreshments, recipes and samples of the food. Seating is limited to 12 people. According to a post by owner John Harrington, the class sold out by Wednesday, March 4.

Future classes will continue to be taught by a number of local chefs, and cooking topics will vary. A Culinary Affair opened in May 2012 and is a certified Big Green Egg retailer. The retailer currently hosts a number of Sample Saturdays often utilizing the multifunctional grill.
