Starfrit is building on the momentum of its durable non-stick offering, The Rock, once again. The company recently introduced its newest addition to the collection, The Rock Cast Iron.
According to the company, the new Rock cast iron collection is innovative while still honoring cast iron’s heritage. Without compromising traditional cast iron benefits such as heat retention, durability and versatility, The Rock cast iron cookware is easy to clean thanks to its Roc.Tech surface treatment, said Starfrit. The combined durability with easy-cleaning characteristics, noted the company, is due to its manufacturing process, which modifies the surface to form an ultra-durable rock-like finish.
The Rock’s new cast iron offerings, which are oven safe up to 450-degrees Fahrenheit and compatible with all cooking surfaces, including induction, is also treated with Starfrit’s anti-rust treatment. While the company said the products are 15% lighter than traditional cast iron pans, they are made with riveted stainless steel handles that offer an ergonomic grip and stay cool on the stovetop.
Currently, Starfrit is offering its new The Rock Cast Iron Collection in an 8-inch fry pan, 10-inch fry pan, 12-inch fry pan with a helper handle and an 11-inch grill pan, also equipped with a helper handle. The fry pans have a suggested retail price range of $39.99 to $49.99 and the 11-inch square grill pan has a suggested retail price of $54.99.
Additionally, the company is also adding to its lineup of kitchen tools and gadgets. The Starfrit pro cuber and fry cutter is a 3-in-1 multi-use kitchen tool that quickly and easily juliennes, slices as well as dices veggies, the company said. Without the top part, it’s a fry cutter, but adding the top attachment, with its heavy-duty blades, allows for slicing and dicing. It comes with an extra-large non-slip suction base to provide stability and safety and all pieces are detachable for easy cleaning. The pro cuber and fry cutter carries a suggested retail price of $39.99.
