Austin, TX-based Métier Cook’s Supply is shuttering after three years in business.
Métier opened its doors in 2014 and sold a variety of select kitchenware products, as well as vintage items and cookbooks. The shop also had a knife sharpening service, cast iron restoration service and hosted events and workshops.
According to the the store’s Facebook site, co-owner Jessica Maher stated, “After three wonderful years, Todd [Duplechan] and I have decided to close Métier. Though we have loved curating it and the sharing and learning from all of our wonderful customers, ultimately our restaurant Lenoir, our staff and our family have always been at the center of our hearts.”
With this announcement, the duo is holding sale at the shop. All merchandise is 40% off or more. Everything from knives, cookware and books to apparel and accessories are included in the sale.
“Thank you so much for all of your support and understanding. We love all of you guys and hope to see you in the shop over the next few weeks!!! Come give us a high five or a hug and get yourself something nice in the process,” Maher added.
