Woll Diamond Plus Induction Logo
Woll Cookware USA is expanding its Diamond Plus collection with a Diamond Plus Induction assortment of diamond-reinforced non-stick cookware.
Fry pans and sauté pans will be available for shipping in late February to gourmet and specialty retailers. Diamond Plus Induction will be featured at the International Gift & Home Furnishings Market in Atlanta, and will also be shown in Seattle, LA Mart, and Dallas. The complete line will be introduced in Ambiente, Frankfurt and the International Home + Housewares Show, in Chicago.
The new cookware features a 7-mm induction-compatible magnetic stainless steel base, which is said to offer uniform heat distribution and is guaranteed not to separate. The excellent heating properties of diamonds also help give this pan a uniform cooking temperature, according to the company.
The German-designed induction line is compatible with gas, ceramic, radiant, halogen, or electric ranges as well as induction. A robotic and computerized nano-technology coating application process guarantees no cracking, blistering, bubbling or separating of the diamond-reinforced cooking surface, the company said. All Diamond Plus Induction cookware is oven safe to 500°F, is metal utensil and dishwasher safe, and, like all Woll products, is PFOA-free. Diamond carries a limited lifetime warranty and is made in Germany.
Villeroy & Boch’s La Classica Contura features a design inspired by the domes and rotundas of Europe. The collection boasts strong lines with architectural undertones. It is made from dishwasher and microwave-safe bone porcelain.
