Paul Ayo, owner of E’s Kitchen, announced that he has signed a lease agreement with Esprit de Coeur, a special event venue. The pop-up shop, he said, was developed so customers can spend unused gift cards, take cooking classes and purchase the store’s remaining inventory. It will be open for about three weeks, Ayo said in a newsletter.
Ayo closed the Lafayette, LA-based E’s Kitchen in January. He recently told The Daily Advertiser, a local news outlet, that re-opening a more permanent location isn’t out of the question, however, it would focus more on cooking classes and not carry all of the items the store once did.
“We’d sell some of the spice blends and things like that but nothing like the novelty products we had at E’s Kitchen,” he said.
